Exploring Lyon - Photowalk thru beautiful Lyon, France
We jumped on the opportunity to travel to Lyon, France before heading to Spain to visit Emily's good friend in San Sebastián. Lyon is known as a gastronomic capital of Europe - while we experienced this in a few different ways it's also a beautiful destination to include in your next Europe itinerary. Lyon surprised us with its' beautiful canals, stretching along and outside our Air BnB balcony, also the old town in Lyon is perfect for wandering during the day or night.
Go for a run along the endless sidewalks and walking paths that run for miles and miles thru and around Lyon, France - everyone seemed to be in a running club here or so it seemed.
“It is not down in any map - true places never are...”
The city seems intertwined with a mix of boulder-like cliffs that reminded us of mountains, although they were just hilly European city sides. Here's a quick glimpse at photo walking our way thru Lyon, France also don't forget to head out at night with your tripod the long exposure here is unbeatable. Not that your going to capture any milky ways here (too much light pollution) but the way the colorful city lights bounce off of the canals - make this a travel photographers dream destination - also a few of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever witnessed in Europe.
