Looking for a quality place to rest your head when visiting New Delhi, India - look no further and book a few nights at the Bed & Chai. Bed and Chai was great for us - our friends stayed here during the first leg of the trip (while we got a more spendy Hotel - Home@F37 not worth it in my opinion) we checked it out during their stay and booked rooms for the end of our India trip here. Bed & Chai who's owners I believe are French have create a very welcoming, clean, refreshing guest house just outside the busy, bustling streets of New Delhi (near Kalash hills). Part of the lower section of the guest house is a little older, more broken in but their upstairs rooms are brand new - when looking for these types of places in Delhi, India can be a tough find. Bed and Chai offers a variety of rooms, some with shared bathrooms some with private bathrooms - we booked rooms with private bathrooms as we were able to fit this style room into our budget. In addition to comfy beds, clean linens, free unlimited wifi and fresh rooms - they offer a really fantastic *FREE* breakfast. In comparison the hotel Home@37 (more expensive) offered a mediocre breakfast, extremely limiting wifi connection (max. 500mb per password), not to mention a few cockroaches wandering around their breakfast area. I fell in love with the fresh brewed cups of spicy Chai during my many (free) breakfasts at Bed & Chai - true to its name they serve up one excellent cup of chai. This is a fantastic place to lay your head and relax after a crazy day in the streets of Delhi - the staff was extremely accommodating, helpful, a little hard to understand but more than anything they provided excellent service all around. Thank you Bed & Chai if we find ourselves in New Delhi again we will definitely stay a few nights at your guest house as long as your still serving up that fantastically spicy Chai.
