Throw your worries in the sand - and your cares into the crystal blue waters of beautiful Thailand.  After making an (amazing) decision to head to Thailand after India we are attempting to settle into the care free life style of living on one of Thailand's beautiful islands for about a week.  This region has a completely different pace than the busy, over crowded feelings we felt thru much of India - instead we are welcomed with smiles, hellos, massages greetings and more smiles.  The 'land of many smiles' has helped us to recoup our energy, re gain our travel strength and made us feel secure as we look forward to planning the next few months of travel.  We will try our best to keep up with posting, but as the real world looms on the horizon, much of our efforts will be spent playing catch up on the content we are still preparing to post - so stay tuned for so much more from Europe, India and beyond.

The unsafe nature of the current world is difficult to understand as a traveler especially when it has interrupted our plans to return to Europe.  Now as we try to settle in Thailand only to learn that this place as well has a heightened threat warning going out over its' entire country as they head into peak travel season for many.  It's very difficult to understand - we never thought we would be afraid to travel but more and more everyday fear/anxiety is growing all around us.  No, we won't just go home right away but it has turned the ease, fun and enjoyment of traveling the world into anxiety, fear and worried nights - hoping and praying places like Thailand stay safe from the evils going on in other parts of the world.  How fortunate we are to be able to explore the places we have seen because I fear in the future it may not be safe to travel as freely as we have over the past few months.  Where is it safe anymore?  I'm not really sure but I wish I knew the answer to that one.

Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.

We earned this trip to Thailand (in my eyes) after freezing our asses off in Europe - but it was well worth it... I can't say it enough but seeing what we have been able to photography, write about and experience in past 90+ days on the road has been incredible, unforgettable and I feel lucky to have been able to go on this travel pilgrimage.  I've spent countless hours pumping content into this blog space and will continue to do so - as this has been a space of purpose for me to educate people on travel photography, preparing to travel to the world and to learn life lessons I will take away for forever - it has been special to be able to share this journey with you readers, followers near and far.  The adventure of life never stops going for us at meet you there - it only changes... the adventure of making a plan to settle back into life either in the states or perhaps New Zealand - is constantly banging on the door.  In general, my attitude and heart will always live out on the open road - this is home to me, not that I don't want a 'permanent home' again one day but for now home is where we are - living in the now, in my personal opinion the future can wait as it always has - we will get there someday.

If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace, you are living in the present.

Stay positive world, walk around with a smile on your face in hopes to brighten someone else day - if we all project positivity maybe someday it will rid the world of its' negative influences.  Stay up ~ meet you there.
