Music drives our travels - as you will see... we sometimes pick destinations in an effort to catch one of our favorite global artists performing live. For this edition of Travel Tunes Ep. 5 I have select two MYT favorites: ODESZA (hailing from Seattle) and Major Lazer (one of Diplo's super music troops - rooted in reggae/dance hall). ODESZA we had the opportunity of seeing up here in the Vail Valley this past winter - a really powerful, LIVE performance (reminded me of Glitch Mob) as they drum live and fire samples of their uplifting vocal filled tunes. Major Lazer is a group I have been following since 2010 when Diplo & Switch used to command this music group together. I've added a favorite ML track and a few mixes by Diplo himself as I couldn't really find any Major Lazer mixes - but I can tell you that if you have the opportunity to see the Lazer you should jump on it! When we saw that Major Lazer had a Euro/UK tour lined up we knew we had to line up a date - hope you enjoy this weeks tunes.
