Dreaming of the blue waters and blonde sand of Koh Phi Phi, Thailand
Thailand is impossible not to miss when your stuck in your lame 9 to 5 job. When you find yourself on Koh Phi Phi all your worries seem to wash away into the tide on the perfect beaches, or drift into the wind while you ride a long tail boat to your next destination. Living is easy in Thailand - we miss the relaxing vibes of Koh Phi Phi everyday, the flavors are something we crave when American-Thai is only so good. One day we will certainly return to Koh Phi Phi and re live the feeling of those beaches, and take in the afternoon storms with a nap in the shade.
Diwali Festival, New Delhi, India
India is so colorful, so vibrant in smells/flavors and tastes! We can't get enough of India - while we questioned returning after our first visit here, I'm quite confident we will return to incredible India again one day. Diwali was such an incredible experience, it's tough to describe using blog posts and travel photos - India is a place we believe everyone must experience one day (if you're adventurous enough!). When you go, you must be open to anything, do your research and let India surprise you with incredible beauty, culture, food, spice, sound and atmosphere.
Luwak Coffee Plantation, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia
Travel has this way of changing you; perhaps it's for the better but we believe it has made us stronger, wiser, more educated, more open minded and actively spontaneous. Be spontaneous in your life and travel more - you never know where it will take you. Seen above is an image from a Luwak coffee farm we visit during our stay in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia - it was unique to sample coffee all over the world; from racy-dark espresso drinks in Europe to spicy Chai Tea in India and fantastic Iced Thai Coffees. Coffee, food and deserts were some of our favorite things we enjoyed while traveling - you have to enjoy the food, it's one of the most important components of visiting different regions. We spent countless hours researching restaurants, we found reviews to be very helpful - we also noticed wherever the locals are eating, you're probably onto something special.
Rice Fields, Ubud, Bali, Indonesia
Be carefully adventurous; we went around the world and seemed to notice that the world is only as dangerous as your own backyard. Walking the rice fields in Ubud was unique, we've never seen anything like this before, well only in photographs. Visiting these places we had long seen on Instagram travel accounts - made chills run up my spine every time we walked upon a scene we 'dreamed of visiting'. Dream it, plan it, and make it happen - the only thing stopping you are excuses and the best advice we can give is....
Buy the plane ticket; the rest of the pieces will fall into place. There's nothing to fear ~Meet You There
Star Gazing, Moraki Boulders, Dunedin, New Zealand
images by Frankieboy Photography
I've seen so many night skies, and different night scenes but to witness them in New Zealand was truly a dream come true. Standing under these stars next to the extraterrestrial Moraki Boulders made this entire scene feel like a movie from deep space - same with climbing/hiking up Mt. Batur in the pitch black with a head lamp, gently slipping on volcano rock as the hiking trail crumbled under my feet. I've never felt so far from home standing on the side of an inactive volcano 9,920 miles from home (15,900km) a little suburb in Cleveland Ohio. To be honest, I never thought I'd be standing in Indonesia to begin with and that's the most beautiful thing about travel is that you never, ever know where you're going to end up... focus on the beautiful journey and the destination will come - don't rush the trip.
