Photography drives our adventures and this website - making sure we can capture some of the best images imaginable we made the decision to pick up a GoPro Hero 3+ on groupon. I have long been a fan of GoPro and their rapid success to the top of the action camera realm - before owning the Hero 3+ I had a Hero 2 where I really fell in love with the camera. The waterproof housing makes these cameras a must-have for avid snowboarders and skiers - my favorite thing to do in the winter time is film a fresh powder day only to scramble home to relive the day on my laptop thru the footage. With a powerful video mode and a few clever camera modes - GoPro has designed one of the world's best action sports cams. Groupon.com sometimes offers some really killer deals on electronics so be prepared to jump on those deals - we got our GoPro Hero 3+ (retails for $300 pre tax) for $275 plus shipping. At the same time I had already list the Hero 2 on craigslist and was able to sell the old GoPro for $125 - making our new camera really only set us back $150. Getting a GoPro Hero 3+ for about $150 is a great deal let me break down some of the specs on this camera and why I believe the Hero 3+ Silver was a great pick:
-Image Quality, fast, wide angle captures snapping at F2.8
-Resolution for the GoPro Hero 3+ is 12MP a very crisp, clean twelve MPs
-Burst mode for the Silver is 30 frames per second
-Built in WiFi to send images from your camera to your phone, for instant sharing

-This camera is great for any and ALL types of adventures - the GoPro dares you to test it's limits because it doesn't have very many. Throw this in your bag and shoot it like a disposable then take the footage home for fun review, slideshow of any action packed adventure. Be sure to keep it in its waterproof casing - this case really keeps the camera safe and sound.
