Exploring India - Three Places we would dream to visit upon returning to India
3 places I would still dream to visit... In beautiful, colorful, and incredible India...
- Goa
- Manali
- Mumbai
Traveling certainly teaches you how to identify those places you dream to visit in the future. While we might not be planning a return trip to India tomorrow, we're certain that these are three travel destinations any world wanderer would want to explore. Starting with
Manali, India - a Himalayan resort town surrounded by outstanding, breath taking views of India's north mountain region. Sip warm Indian chai, and dip in a hot tub as snow slowly falls and blankets this peaceful honeymoon destination.
Goa, India - from what I've read, this seems to be the more tropical region of India, plenty of beaches and entertainment lasting late into the night. Goa has many temples and cathedrals, a famous waterfall and is known for its' spice farms. I can only imagine what the curry tastes like in this region - we miss the food and spices from India...
Mumbai - We're huge fans of Diplo and Major Lazer here at Meet You There, and Mumbai is a place that Major Lazer has visit a couple times, showing off its' beauty thru Diplo's snapchat I've long wanted to visit Mumbai. Similar to New Delhi, Mumbai is one of India's most populated cities located on the west coast of India - famously known to be the home of Bollywood. Mumbai (also known to some as Bombay) is India's fashion capital which would make sense since their film industry is also based out of this region as well. Films like Slumdog Millionaire and Disney's Million Dollar Army have multiple scenes filmed in Mumbai's beautiful city streets, not to mention how many amazing sights there are to visit near this amazing Indian city: Elephanta Island, Iskcon Temple, Sanjay Gandhi National Park and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya.
To be honest, no matter where you plan your India adventures - your trip is going to be amazing, just be sure to: do plenty of research on the regions you are visiting, research travel in between your destinations and always prepare Visa documentation far in advance before entering countries like India or the middle east. Thank you for reading, and glad we got one post up in July, it has been a busy summer for us adjusting back into work life, but more content will continue to develop on Meet You There as I read back thru my travel journal there is still so much to share. Enjoy the week everyone, hopefully one day we will ~Meet You There
